Captain Matthew Jefferies' current deployment is in Canberra with the Australian Headquarters Joint Operations Command.
The Australian Headquarters Joint Operations Command (HQJOC) is the Australian Defence Force's (ADF) operational level headquarters responsible for the command and control of ADF operations worldwide. It was formed from "Headquarters Australian Theatre" (HQAST) in 2004 to reflect the changing internal structure of the ADF and the need to establish a purpose built, co-located joint headquarters. Since December 2008, it has been based adjacent to the Kowen district of the Australian Capital Territory, just south of the Kings Highway, about 15 km east of Queanbeyan and 15 km south of Bungendore. The complex is known as the General John Baker Complex, named after a former Chief of Defence Force who was a strong advocate of joint command and control.  (Sourced from Wikipedia.)

 Training at Kapooka
Matt did his initial basic training in the Australian Army at Kapooka in 2000, at the Army Recruit Training Centre. "The Home of the Australian Soldier" is situated at Kapooka, approximately 10 kilometres to the South-West of Wagga on the Olympic Highway. It is here that Regular Army and Reservists Recruits are trained in the art of "soldiering".

We’re sure you’ve heard this claim before, probably hundreds of times:

“Science has proven evolution is fact.”  It’s like a strange Darwinian chant that emanates

from atheist blogs and secular universities.  Too bad (for them) it’s not true.

"For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when

they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labour pains upon a

pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day

should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor

of darkness... For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus

Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him."
