Trip Around Australia by the Jefferies 1981

Part 4 - Victoria, South Australia & Western Australia

Around Australia Trip 1981  -  Part    1   -   2   -   3  -  4

Dad (Gordon) & Mum (Irene), Max & Ann, Matthew & Daniel. The trip took 5 months and covered over 24,000 kms,

mostly on Highway 1. Dad & Mum supplied the car - Holden HQ with a new 202 six engine and a V8 radiator.

Ann & I provided the caravan - 22' Modern with 4 bunks down the back & a swing-down double bed over the front lounge.

We headed north from Perth and did the top-end first as this was the right time to avoid the cyclones and hot weather.

The car had a high-ratio ute diff which pulled the caravan reasonably well (surprisingly!). It also had new pump-up

rear shockies, new set of light-truck radials, two spares for the van and load-levellers for the hitch.

These are selected images scanned from slides from the trip - many photos were damaged by fungus and dumped.

This is a small sample of the photos in our old family album, going back many years. Many of the photos are

scanned from old prints or transparencies (slides). Due to the age and deterioration of some the prints and

transparencies, image quality may be rather poor in some cases.

All images taken by Max Jefferies or a member of my family, or on our behalf,

and copyright is retained by us in all cases and can only be used for private purposes.

The Greatest Hoax on Earth?

 Refuting Dawkins on evolution

Richard Dawkins, the undisputed high priest of evolution/atheism, says his book, "The Greatest Show on Earth: the evidence for evolution," is the first time he has presented all the evidence for evolution/long ages. It is promoted as an unanswerable demolition of creation.

Scientist, logician, chessmaster and author of the world’s biggest-selling creationist book, CMI’s Dr Jonathan Sarfati, relentlessly demolishes Dawkin’s claims point-by-point, showing biblical creation makes more sense of the evidence. A must-read—and a must-give (to all evolutionist acquaintances)!

DARWIN'S PLANTATION

“Although racism did not begin with Darwinism, Darwin did more than any

person to popularize it.” - from Darwin’s Plantation.
Discover the origin of people groups (there is only one race), the genetics of skin colour, and biblical truths on "interracial" marriage. This fascinating new book explores racism and its roots in the hearts and minds of millions. Most people do not realize how intimately connected the popular idea of evolution and the worst racist ideology in history are. Ken Ham and Dr. Charles Ware reveal the compelling history of the effect of an evolution-based belief system on the history of the United States, including slavery, the civil rights movement, and abortion. They go beyond politically-correct speech to show the tragic global harvest of death and tragedy which stems from Darwin’s controversial beliefs. A compassionate and uniquely convincing book!

Darwin: The Voyage that Shook the World - DVD

In 1831 a young amateur scientist, Charles Darwin, boarded HMS Beagle on an epic five-year voyage of discovery. 2009 marked the 200th anniversary of Darwin’s birth and the 150th anniversary of the publication of his book, ‘Origin of Species’. The Voyage that Shook the World retraces Darwin’s journey, exploring the places and discoveries crucial to the formulation of his Theory of Evolution. Filmed in South America, UK, North America, Australia and Europe, The Voyage features dramatic period recreations and stunning nature cinematography interwoven with scholars sharing their perspectives on the man and the controversy. A fascinating and thought-provoking opportunity to gain new insight into The Voyage that Shook the World.

""And behold, I* am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his

work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last." Blessed

are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and

murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to

testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright

and Morning Star.” And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!”

And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely."
